Name

Tydeus momeni (El-Baghouri & Momen, 1988)

Type locality: from soil with roots of wheat plants, Triticum spp. Gharbia region (Egypt).
Holotype: ZMH - ♀.

Tydeus longisetosus, subsequent combination proposed by Kaźmierski (1998: 342)

Homonyms

Tydeus longisetosus, the name proposed by Kaźmierski (1998: 342) is a secondary junior homonym of Tydeus longisetosus Kuznetsov & Zapletina, 1972

Notes

Species listed by Silva et al. (2016: 38).
A first homonymy was recorded by Kaźmierski (1998: 342).
However, the replacement name proposed by Kaźmierski (1998: 342) is a secondary junior homonym of Tydeus longisetosus Kuznetsov & Zapletina, 1972. A new replacement name, Tydeus momeni, was therefore proposed by Khanjani & Ueckermann (2003: 5) and is used by André (2021 1030). The "old" name, Tydeus longisetosus, sometimes remains in use (e.g. Khodayari et al., 2009, 2010; Haliganbar & Farazmand, 2021: 110, 131); Madadi & Kamali, 2021: 155, 159).
