Valid species listed by Sepasgosarian (1997: 15)
Listed as ‘‘ancient species’’ by Kaźmierski (1998: 357).
Misspelled ("demeyeri") by Buitendijk (1945: 322) and André (2005).
According to the short descripion by Oudemans (1929) and the adjacent figure, the prodorsum is procurved, which implies that demeyerei does not belong to Tydeidae as defined by André & Fain (2000). The only one slide in Oudemans' collection is in bad a state (André, 2005: 991). Its familial status is dubious but it might be a Tydaeolinae (Procurvata sensu André & Fain (2000: 438)).
