- Neotype: FMNH 151709 (formerly CNHM 151709), ♂, collected by W. Hosmer on 22 March 1964. [designated by Inger & Leviton (1966: 312)]
- Type locality: “Baran”, redesignated by neotype designation to “Sungei Pesu, Fourth Division, Sarawak”, by Inger & Leviton (1966: 312).
