Caddella africana (Lawrence, 1931): 470.

Type locality: South Africa, Western Cape Province, Ladismith. (See also other localities for comparative material in original description, but notably "Caledon" later re-defined as Caddella spatulipilis caledonica Lawrence, 1934).

Typus: Holotype "1 specimen" (unsexed)
