Centromochlus (Balroglanis) bockmanni (Sarmento-Soares & Buckup, 2005)

  • Holotype: MZUSP 82803.
  • Paratypes: MNRJ 25798 (1); MZUSP 36976 (1), 82351 (8, 1 c&s).

Type locality: Rio São Francisco, downstream from Três Marias Dam, Minas Gerais State, Brazil.

Etymology: in honor of ichthyologist Flávio Alicino Bockmann, Universidade de São Paulo, who collected specimens that led authors to recognize this species as undescribed. The ETYFish Project
