Coccotydeus Thor, 1931

Junior synonym of the genus Tydaeolus [syn. proposed by Baker (1965) - synonymy generally accepted but not by Fain et al. (1991: 197)]

The genus was erected by Thor (1931).
It was maintained by Thor (1933: 47-49) to accommodate 3 species: claviger, globifer & tenuiclaviger.
