- Type locality: “At Sholakal, the foot of the Sispara Ghat”, Malappuram district, Kerala, India.

- Holotype: ZSI 25601, ♂, collected by A.M.A. Nixon and D. Mukherjee on 17 September 2003.
- Type locality: “Anaikatti Hills, Western Ghats, Coimbatore district, Tamil Nadu, India, 11°05′30.9″N, 76°47′36.2″E”.
- Paratype: ZSI 25602, ♀, same data as for the holotype.
