Centromochlus (Balroglanis) simplex (Mees, 1974)

  • Holotype (unique): BMNH 1971.7.29.5.

Type locality: Xaventina house beach, Rio dos Mortes, Mato Grosso, Brazil.

Etymology: single, a “well-differentiated species so that, although only a single specimen was available, [Mees] felt no hesitation in describing it as new”. The ETYFish Project
