Centromochlus (Duringlanis) perugiae Steindachner, 1882

  • Syntypes: (several) NMW 47358 (3); SMF 5355 [ex NMW] (1).

Type locality: Canelos, eastern Ecuador.

Etymology: in honor of Italian ichthyologist Albert Perugia, thanking him for donations of rare fishes from the Adriatic Sea to the Imperial and Royal Zoological Collection in Vienna. The ETYFish Project
