Centromochlus (Duringlanis) Grant, 2015

Etymology: Duringlanis is derived from Durin, from the character Durin the Deathless, the eldest of the first dwarves created by the Vala Aulë in J. R. R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings legendarium, and Greek, glanis = a catfish. The name has been given to recognise the small size of species of the subgenus.
