Tydeus polymitus Koch, 1838

Tydeus polymitus, original combination
Ereynetes polymitus, subsequent combination proposed by Canestrini (1886: 229-230) and used by Leonardi (1900: 58) and Schweizer (1922: 76).

The species is one of the 11 Tydeus described by Koch (1838).
The species studied by Canestrini is not the species described by Koch according to Thor (1933: 21) (see Ereynetes polymitus).
Listed as ‘‘ancient species’’ by Kaźmierski (1998: 357) but not listed oby Silva et al. (2016).
