Notes
edit- Berlese (1882-1893) listed the species assigned to the genus Tydeus. On page 14, he wrote "granosus" but, on page 140, he wrote "granulosus". Tydeus granosus is probably a misspelling for Tydeus granulosus.
- There is a second error in Berlese's paper: in both cases, the species is assigned to Riccardo Canestrini, the brother of the actual descriptor Giovanni Canestrini.
- Binomen used by Hull (1918: 36).
- "Synonymized" with Tydeus granulosus by Thor (1933: 29).
- Listed as "ancient species" by Kaźmierski (1996: 357) [listed as T. granosus (BERLESE, 1893)].
