Pertydeus André & Naudo, 1965

Tydeus (Pertydeus) was erected by André & Naudo (1965) as subgenus of Tydeus. The subgenus accommodated two species: Tydeus schusteri and Tydeus tridactylus.
The subgenus was used but disputed by Baker (1970: 164).
The subgenus was not treated by subsequent authors: André (1980), Kaźmierski (1998) and Silva et al. (2016).
The component species are now assigned to the genus Brachytydeus by Silva et al. (2016) (except recidivus).
