Trinectes hubbsbollinger Duplain, Chapleau & Munroe, 2012

Holotype: BMNH 1915.10.1.19. Paratypes: BMNH 1914.5.18.110–111 (2), 1915.10.1.18 (1).

Type locality: Colombia, Andagoya, Río San Juan, ca. 5°5'43"N, 76°41'39"W.[1]

Etymology: The specific name is a tribute to Carl Leavitt Hubbs and John A. Bollinger who first recognized the type specimens as an undescribed species.
