Type locality: India, Odisha (formerly Orissa), Ganjam, Chilika Lake (= Chilka Lake), Barkuda Island (formerly part of Madras Presidency); 19°33′12.7′′ N, 85°08′47.2′′ E; 13 m a.s.l.

Syntypes: NZC-ZSI. male ♂ and female ♀. 15-22.VII.1916. legit F.H. Gravely. no register number specified.
