Parastrellus hesperus (H. Allen, 1864)

• Lectotype: USNM 5406/37406, adult ♂, body in alcohol with skull removed. [designated by G. S. Miller (1897: 88)]
• Type locality: “Ft. Yuma, Cal.” [=Old Fort Yuma, Imperial Co., California, United States].
