Pseudobatos glaucostigmus (Jordan & Gilbert, 1883)

  • Syntypes: USNM 28205-06 (1, 1), 29547 (1, not found in 1980), 29602 (1, not found in 1980).

Type locality: Mazatlán, Sinaloa, western Mexico.

Etymology: glaucus (= hoary blue); stigma (= spot), referring to numerous slate-colored spots on disk. (From: The ETYFish Project)
