Holotype: CSIRO H71207. Paratypes: CSIRO H 646-04 (1), 648-06 (1), 709-03 (1), 712-08 (1); QM I 1924 (1), 19934 (1).

Type locality: Australia, Queensland, south of Saumarez Reef, 22°10'S, 153°29'E, depth 303-333 meters.[1]
