- Syntypes (n=2): ZMB 3408, adult ♀, skin and skull, and ZMB 3409, juvenile ♀, skin and skull, both donated by C. Godeffroy, ex Museum Godeffroy.
- Type locality: “Rockhampton in Nordostaustralien”.
