Aetheliparis rossi (N.V.Chernova & Stein, 2004)

  • Holotype: USNM 372726
  • Paratype: USNM 372727

Type locality: Sta. EL-00-033, off Cape Hatteras (The Point), 35º30.036'N, 74º46.497'W [1], 500-674 m over about 900 m depth.

Etymology: The patronym rossi after Steve W. Ross, who initially notified the authors of the captures and furnished the specimens to them for examination.
