Name

Poecilotheria tigrinawesseli Smith, 2006

Type locality: India, a remnant patch of forest between Anantagiri and Araku.

Holotype: BMNH. female ♀. 16.IX.2004. legit Henrik Wessel Frank.

Synonymy

• Poecilotheria chaojii Mirza, Sanap & Bhosale, 2014: 61 (synonymized by Sherwood, 2019a: 19).
  • Type locality: India, elevation 523m, Semadoh, Amravati district, Maharashtra (ca. 21°31’33”N, 77° 7’4.32”E).
    • Holotype: BNHS. male ♂. 15.VI.2013. BNHS Sp-88.
