Hoplostethus adenensis (Norman, 1939)

  • Holotype (unique): BMNH 1939.5.24.1545.

Type locality: Gulf of Aden, northwestern Indian Ocean, station 177, depth 274-366 meters.

Etymology: The specific name adenensis is derived from the type locality, the Gulf of Aden.
