Paremballonura tiavato (Goodman, Cardiff, Ranivo, Russell & Yoder, 2006)

  • Holotype: FMNH 169705, adult ♂, skin, skull, and partial postcranial skeleton, collected by Steven M. Goodman on 22 January 2001.
  • Type locality: “Madagascar, Province d’Antsiranana, Réserve Spéciale d’Ankarana, 2,6 km east of Andrafiabe, in forest near Andrafiabe Cave, 12°55.9′S, 49°03.4′E, +/- 50 m”.
  • Etymology: Malagasy name tiavato “likes rock”.
