Name

Tydeus eriophyes Meyer & Ryke, 1959

• Type locality: from Vitis sp.,found associated with Eriophyes vitis, Grabouw (South Africa).
• Holotype: Institute for Zoological Research of the Potchefstroom University – ♀.

Synonyms

• Tydeus eriophyes, original combination.
• Paralorryia eriophyes, subsequent combination advanced by Baker (1970: 163).

Notes

• Listed as "ancient species" by Kaźmierski (1998: 358).
