Holotype: SL 08.11.011. Paratypes: SL 08.11.012-08.11.020.

Type locality: Vietnam, lake Bom Hau, Chieng Xom commune, Son La City, at the basin of Da River.[1]

Etymology: The species is named after its characteristic pattern of a line olong the back and on each side.
