Ochmacanthus batrachostomus (Miranda Ribeiro, 1912)

  • Holotype (unique): MNRJ 786.

Type locality: Rio Paraguay at São Luiz de Cáceres, Corumba, Mato Grosso State, Brazil.

Etymology: from batrachus (= frog), and stomus (= mouth), allusion not explained, perhaps referring to its very wide mouth. (From The ETYFish project)
