Nyctophilus corbeni Parnaby, 2009: 46

  • Holotype: AM M38833 (field number 6HP04), adult ♂, body in alcohol and skull extracted, collected by H. Parnaby on 7 May 2006.
  • Type locality: “Old Coghill Track, 0.7 km east of junction with track to main Gilgai Waterhole; formerly Gilgai Flora Reserve, Pilliga East State Forest, New South Wales. Approximate altitude 235 m. Coordinates obtained from a Garmin GPS are 30°29’58”S, 149°20’53”E”.
  • Paratypes (n=4): AM38834 (6HP05), adult ♂, same date as for the holotype; AM38831 (6HP02), adult ♂, skull extracted; AM38832 (6HP03), adult ♂; and AM38835 (6HP06), adult ♂, all three from “Old Coghill Track, 0.6 km west of junction with track to main Gilgai Waterhole (30°29’51”S, 149°20’01”E, altitude approximately 215m), Pilliga East State Forest, New South Wales”, collected by H. Parnaby on 7 May 2006.
