Mormoops megalophylla megalophylla Peters, 1864

  • Holotype: ZMB 2826, adult ♀, in alcohol with skull removed.
  • Type locality: “Mexico”, restricted to “southern Mexico” by Rehn (1902: 167), corrected to “Parrás, Coahuila, México” by Smith (1972: 116).
