- Neotype: CESL 045, adult ♂, collected by Saunak P. Pal, Mrungank V. Prabhu and S.P. Vijayakumar on 10 June 2010. [designated by Pal et al. (2018: 429)]
- Type locality: “Southern India”, redesigned by neotype designation to “Chembra reserve forest, Kerala” by Pal et al. (2018: 429).
