  • Holotype: FMNH 202450, ♂, body in alcohol with skull removed, collected by Steven M. Goodman on 9 May 2009.
  • Type locality: “Madagascar: Province d'Antsiranana, Parc National de la Montagne d'Ambre, 5.5 km SW Joffreville (Ambohitra), Station Forestière des Roussettes, 12°31'37.3"S, 49°10'19.1"E, 1000 m”.
