Micropterus coosae Hubbs & Bailey, 1940

  • Holotype: UMMZ 97729.
  • Paratypes (132): Alabama Polytechnic Institute (9 lots); Iowa State College (4 lots); UMMZ 96762 (2, 68–79), 88205 (4, 23–84); USNM 31152 (1), 73542 (1), 101076 (1).

Type locality: USA, Alabama, Fisher Creek, tributary to Big Will's Creek of the Coosa River system, Etowah County.
