Type locality: Río Guamán, Jondachi–Loreto road, Napo, Ecuador (0.77223°S 77.6408°W), 1050 m elev.

Holotype: UBC-SEM. male ♂. 31.X.2010. legit W. & D. Maddison, M. Veja & M. Reyes.
