Holotype: KU 142675, adult ♀, collected by W.E. Duellman on 5 July 1971.
Type locality: “3.7 km east of the village of Dos Rios, 1190 m, Provincia Pichincha, Ecuador (0º12’ S, 78º53’ W)”.
