Enteromius arambourgi (Pellegrin, 1935)

  • Syntypes: MNHN 1932-0097 to 0099 (3).

Type locality: Marsh, about 50 kilometers northwest of Sergoit, on the plateau Uasin Gishu, near Omo River, Omo, Ethiopia, elevation 1800 meters.

Etymology: probably in honor of vertebrate paleontologist Camille Arambourg (1885-1970), who conducted extensive field work in North Africa (including Ethiopia, where this barb is endemic). (From The ETYFish project)
