  • Holotype: ZMUC P26475.
  • Paratypes: ZMUC P26476-80 (5).

Type locality: From a flood resurgence at Kaaje-Ru, valley of Ab-i-Serum, Lorestan Province, Zagros mountains, Iran, 33°05'N, 48°36'E.

Etymology: blind, a cave fish with “no external traces of eyes to be seen”. (From The ETYFish project
