Charadrahyla taeniopus (Günther, 1901)

• Syntypes (n=2): BMNH 1947.2.23.32-33 (formerly 1901.12.19.86-87).
• Type locality: “Mexico, [Veracruz,] Jalapa”.

  • Holotype: FMNH 100075 (formerly EHT-HMS 16630), adult ♂, collected by Mrs. Hazel Roberts and E.H. Taylor on 11 August 1938.
  • Type locality: “near Tianguistengo, Hidalgo, Mexico”

• Hyla proboscidea Taylor, 1948: 259 [nomen praeoccupatum pro Hyla proboscidea Brongersma, 1933; synonymised by Duellman (1965: 160)]
  • Holotype: KU 23626, adult ♂, collected by by Walter W. Dalquest on 28 October 1946.
  • Type locality: “2 km. west of Jico [= Xico], Veracruz, Mexico, at an elevation of 4,200 ft”.
