  • Holotype: presumed lost fide Edgren (1953: 640).
  • Type locality: “Carolina”, restricted to “Charleston, South Carolina” by Schmidt (1953: 226).
  • Placed on the Official List of Specific Names in Zoology by Opinion 390 (1956: 275).
