- Holotype: CIB (Field No. 36982), adult ♀, collected by R.F. Inger, E.-M. Zhao, H.B. Shaffer and G.-F. Wu on 29 May 1987.
- Type locality: “Wa Shan, Hongya County, Sichuan Province, China, alt. 1200 m”.
