Placocheilus robustus Zhang et al., 2002

  • Holotype: IHASW 601132.
  • Paratypes: IHASW 601128-31 (4), 601133-34 (2).

Type locality: Yuanjiang River, Yuanjiang County, Yunnan Province, China.

Etymology: From robustus (= stout), referring to stouter caudal peduncle compared to congeners. (From The ETYFish project)
