Placocheilus cryptonemus Cui & Li, 1984

  • Holotype: KIZ 742035.
  • Paratypes: KIZ (14).

Type locality: Laowo, 25°51'N, 99°01'E, Yunlong County, Yunnan Province, China.

Etymology: From crypto- (= hidden or concealed), and nema (= thread), presumably referring to absence of barbels. (From The ETYFish project)
