Type locality: Sierra Cabrilla (near Sierra Prieta), N. Yunquera, E. Serranía de Ronda, Málaga province, S. Andalusia Region, S. Spain.
- Notes:
- This subspecies is regarded as the most differentiated of all the taxa described of Eumedonia eumedon in the Palearctic Region.
- Eumedonia is a different genus to Aricia according to recent molecular studies.
