Holotype: coll. Danilevsky. male, Iran, prov. East Azerbaijan (Āzarbāijān-e Sharqi), Babak-Kale environs, 2050 m, 38°50′54″N 46°59′9″E / 38.84833°N 46.98583°E / 38.84833; 46.98583, 29.5.2014, S. Murzin leg.

Etymology. The new taxon is dedicated to a well known Russian entomologist Sergey Murzin, who collected the type series.
