Type locality: Krasnodar reg., Anapa environs.

Holotype: coll. Danilevsky. male with two labels: 1) “Аnapa 20.iv.1918 D.Zavileisky“, 2) “Dorcadion sulcipenne Kr. Vořišek det. 1975“.

Etymology. The name of the new subspecies is created on the base of the name of ancient people of the region - Sindi (Sinds) - Greek: Σινδοί.
