Cyclopes didactylus (Linnaeus, 1758)

  • Holotype: NRM (lost).
  • Neotype: FMNH 93175, adult ♀, skin and skull; coll. Harry A. Beatty in 29 September 1960, at the Kayser-Gebergte Airstrip. [designated by Miranda, Casali, Perini, Machado & Santos (2018: 701)]
  • Type locality: “America australi”, restricted to “Suriname” by Thomas (1911: 132); redesigned by neotype designation to “Suriname” by Miranda, Casali, Perini, Machado & Santos (2018: 701).
