- Holotype: NSMT-M 2060, subadult ♂, skin and skull, collected by Y.Matsuzawa on 15 July 1951.
- Type locality: “Hokujo Mura (Shinden), 720 m altitude, Kita-Azumi Gun, Nagano Pref., Central Honsyu, Japan”.
