- Holotype: DZSJRP 18054 (field number PI0482), adult ♂, alcohol-preserved with skull removed, collected by L.D. Vizotto, A.J. Dumbra and V. Rodrigues, date unknown.
- Type locality: “Teresina (ca. 05°02’ S and 42°45’ W), in the State of Piauí, Brazil”.
