Labeobarbus urotaenia (Boulenger, 1913)

  • Syntypes: BMNH 1912.12.6.5 (1); MRAC 1791-1792 (2).

Type locality: Dungu, upper Uelé River, Democratic Republic of Congo.

Etymology: oura- (= tail); taeniata (= banded), referring to poorly defined lateral brown band that extends onto lower lobe of caudal fin. (From The ETYFish project)
