Labeobarbus johnstonii (Boulenger, 1907)

  • Holotype (unique): BMNH 1897.6.9.280.

Type locality: Between Kondowe and Karonga, Lake Malawi.

Etymology: in honor of Sir Harry Johnston (1858-1927), British explorer, botanist, linguist and colonial administrator, who “presented” type. (From The ETYFish project)
