Enteromius anema (Boulenger, 1903)

  • Syntypes: BMNH 1907.12.2.1336-37 (2) Luxor, 1907.12.2.1238-43 (6) Fashoda, 1907.12.2.1244-49 (6), 1907.12.2.1250-52 (3), 1907.12.2.1253-54 (2) Gondokoro; MNHN 1907-0200 (2).

Type locality: Nile River between Assuan and Luxor, White Nile, Egypt.

Etymology: a- (= without); nema (= thread), presumably referring to lack of barbels. (From The ETYFish project)
