Bairdemys hartsteini Gaffney & Wood, 2002

Holotype: AMNH 27222, a nearly complete skull (figs. 12–15). Collected by Eugene F. Hartstein, 1975.
Type locality: North side of Highway No. 2, west of Bayamon, Puerto Rico.
Etymology: For Eugene F. Hartstein, who collected the specimen and donated it to the AMNH in 1991.
